IA Management (IAM) Level I Position
The 8570.01-M Manual defines the following for the IA Management (IAM) Level I Position.
IAM Level I personnel are responsible for the implementation and operation of a DoD Information System or a System DoD Component within their Computing Environment (CE). Incumbents ensure that IA-related Information Systems are functional and secure within the CE.

Applies knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and structure to develop, implement, and maintain a secure CE.

For IA issues, typically reports to an IAM Level II (Network Environment (NE)).
May report to other management for other CE operational requirements.

Other
|
Manages IA operations for a CE system(s).
|
|
IA Certification
|
Within six (6) months of assignment to position.
